Corporate Vision
The vision of Eclipse Screen Printing at its inception was to provide quality products
and a high level of service based on our customer's expectations. We also wanted to bring together
a staff that would provide creative and innovative techniques to solve our customer's problems.
In short, we wanted to be more than "just another screen-printer."
We also recognized that in order to be successful that we needed to provide a safe, healthy and
positive environment for our employees and to be a responsible member of our community and environment.
Background
Matt Sarner and Bruce Colwell, President and Vice-President founded Eclipse Screen Printing respectively,
in May 1992. We first opened for business in a 4000 square foot facility located east of Downtown Spokane.
After 5 years of building our business and reputation we needed to expand our operations.
In November 1997 we built an 11,500 square foot custom manufacturing facility on a 5-acre site in the Spokane Valley.
Being sensitive to the environment and to the health and safety of our employees, the facility was built
specifically to the unique environmental requirements of screen-printing and incorporates air handling and
environmental equipment that exceeds all Washington State environmental standards.
Since our founding, we have continually re-invested our earnings in technology, equipment, and people.
We are one of a handful of screen-printers in the Pacific Northwest with Laser Cutting and Large Format
Digital Printing, purchased to fulfill specialized customer requirements. We have also developed our own
order processing and shop floor control system that is unique to our screen-printing processing needs.
Quality
Our quality system follows the guidelines of ISO 9002 and was developed to ensure predictability and consistency
of process. This allows us to closely monitor and audit each step in our manufacturing processes. While we have
developed our own standards for quality control and in-process inspection, we can adapt those standards in accordance
with our customers needs.
We are a UL Authorized Printer and a member in good standing of SGIA.
